At the New Lisbon Community Center
We are proud to award Nate Koca with the Citizen of the year award this year.
The nomination form for Nate said, "Every Thursday for the last 20 years Nate has taken the garbage can of the residents of New Lisbon from the street back to the house for no other reason but to be helpful. Nate always has a smile on his face and is such a joy to interact with." It is people like Nate that make our community great! Thanks Nate! |
We are honored to bestow the 2021 Community Service Award Winner to Castle Rock Realty.
Bobbi, Randy and the staff at Castle Rock Realty go above and beyond to help our area. They selflessly help others, donate to our community and volunteer their time. They are humble, they are giving, they are quiet, and they are consistently looking out for the community. Thank you Bobbi Brandt, Randall Brant, and Castle Rock Realty for helping to make our community so great! |
This year we also want to give special recognition to The Sunshine Movement.
Nominations for The Sunshine Movement noted things such as, "such a beautiful display. Seen by many from the interstate" for their project; Gleam of Christmas Cheer at Riverside park, and "bringing amazing events and community activities together for New Lisbon and surrounding areas. They bring kindness and a sense of togetherness during a very difficult year" The opportunities they have given the community to do great things are what help make our community a great place to live, work, and play! |

We get so much great information at the Chamber office that could help you and your business. We are putting all the good stuff on this page. The newest things are at the top. Please use this information and these links to find out the facts.
Things are evolving every day with the Covid-19 responses, so some older information may not be as important today as it was a few weeks ago. As of 3/30/20 we have started to date the information in green text at the bottom of each of them to help you know how old each tidbit is.
If the Chamber can help you with your business in any way, please let us know! The office itself is closed, but the phone is forwarded and the email is checked as I work remotely until the Safer At Home Order is lifted. 608-562-3555 or [email protected]

We have had great success with our previous Wine/Beer walks and expect a great turnout in May for our first Spring Wine/Beer Walk. This is a great opportunity to show your support for the Chamber and the area, as well as get your name in front of potential customers.
We plan on having 250 tickets available and marketing the event in our area and beyond. We will have 2 starting locations this year to help spread out the crowd. Our last event had participants visiting locations in downtown New Lisbon as well as Silver Star and The Body Shop. This year we hope to have many returning stops and add a few more, including finding spaces for out-of-town businesses to join in town. |
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss options further please
feel free to email us at [email protected] or call Jessica at 608-562-3555 |

Here is guidance from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for operating and providing assistance or safeguards in our communities in regards to rummage sales:
You and your community should cancel or postpone all in-person yard and rummage sales. It is not safe to go to public gatherings, such as yard or rummage sales, because COVID-19 is still spreading in Wisconsin.
You should avoid all in-person gatherings with people who are not a part of your home. This applies to events like yard, garage, or rummage sales. We at the State are tracking COVID-19 cases and are learning more about it every day. We will share what we learn and will let you know when it is safe to return to normal activity.
What if I want to hold a yard or rummage sale?

What if I want to hold a yard or rummage sale?
You have a few options:
- You can hold a no-contact yard or rummage sale.
- You can post and sell items using a virtual community, garage sale apps, or online sales platform. These options allow sellers to sell items without physical contact with the buyer.
How can I keep myself and the buyer safe?
- Clean and disinfect your items before giving or shipping it to a buyer.
- Buyers should wash all clothing and disinfect other items after pick up.
- The buyer should state item descriptions and terms of the sale before posting.
- Make or accept payments or over the phone and avoid exchanging cash.
- Use precautions to protect your health and safety if you need to pick up or pay in-person.
- Wear a cloth face covering.
- Practice good hygiene.
- Pick up and pay in open, visible, and well-ventilated space. Do not enter another person's home.
- Stay at least 6 feet apart. Make sure you pick up and pay without physical contact.
- Place a new envelope for each buyer on a table. The seller can watch the buyer leave their money in the envelope, making sure to stay at least 6 feet away. Sellers should wait at least 24 hours to open the envelope to reduce the chance of infection.
- Schedule item pick-up with enough time between buyers so they don't come in contact with each other.
- Wash your hands after every transaction. Only use hand sanitizer if there is no dirt on your hands.
