January 22, 2021

The New Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce dropped off over 70 items of warm winter wear to Gary and Kristie Hansen of the New Lisbon Community Closet. These items had been collected from the community during the Wisconsin Department of tourism’s Big Bundle Up Campaign. This is the tenth year of the Big Bundle Up. To date, the program has collected over 185,000 warm winter items to help families in need.

A donation box was located at the New Lisbon Chamber of Commerce office for dropping off items. The New Lisbon community was very generous in donating warm winter items. Items ranged from hand-knitted hat and mitten sets, to new children's snow pants, to gently used adult coats. The items are now at the New Lisbon Community Closet so that they can be distributed to those in need.
